Cleaning is paid by the guest as a cleaning fee on each booking. Third-party platform fees (such as Airbnb's host fee) are set by the platforms and passed through at cost.

What does the 20% fee actually cover?
Everything in the list above: listing management, pricing, guest communication, turnover coordination, maintenance coordination, and monthly reporting. We take 20% of booking revenue and there are no other CrestonStay fees.
Can I still use my property myself?
Yes. It's your home. Block your own dates on the calendar any time, and we'll work the bookings around them.
Do I need a short-term rental licence in Creston?
Most BC communities require a business licence and, in some areas, provincial STR registration. We walk you through exactly what applies to your property during onboarding, before your listing goes live.
Who handles damage or problem guests?
We do. Every booking is screened, security deposits and platform protection programs are in place, and our team documents the property between stays so issues are caught and claimed quickly.
How do I get paid?
Once a month, by direct deposit, together with a statement showing every booking, the revenue, our 20%, and your net payout.
Am I locked into a contract?
No long-term lock-in. We keep owners by performing, not by contract terms. Either side can end the agreement with reasonable notice to honour existing bookings.
